Poem – Unsocial Media

I scroll, I flick, I switch I stare.

I look for the answers, But your not there.

I can not find,

for what I search.

The satisfaction,

left unheard.

And yet I repeat, the same dam steps.

Motions engraved,in a dance of regret.

What will it take to break free?

To find the thing that eludes me?

When will I realise you are not there?

A screen can’t show me love nor care.
