I am here though you can’t see.

The darkness simply hides me.

I am here in the quiet confines of my mind.

Stuck in isolation, Frozen in fear.

Fear of rejection, fear of judgement but I am here.

I silently sit and watch the day pass me by,

through a screen of my imagining.

A break from reality.

A shroud of protection.

Distant, isolated, protected. I am here.

Don’t assume what you see is all that I am.

I sit behind the veil.

I am here.

You don’t need to join me or try to set me free.

Just visit me occasionally for I am here.
