Judge not what you see.

Behind those eyes of steely confidence,
lie unseen doubt and nerves.
Behind those eyes of sheer determination, a broken will unheard.

Behind those eyes of cold bare logic,
Lies a heart that forever yearns.
Behind those eyes of quite calm,
a body in chaos burns.

Behind those eyes of decided knowing,
Lies a mind that longs to learn.
Behind those eyes cast down in pain,
A strength that can’t be heard.

Judge not for what your eyes perceive,
They can skew the view you keep.
Trust that beyond what you see,
Lies a person complex and deep.

Because nobody truly can see to the heart of a person. Save your judgement cast out kindness instead.
